Sportsmanship at any price

Especially here in North America, sportsmanship is a vital part of the game. It is as integral as that exhibited in the various billiards games like pool or snooker.

Here in this 2004 Western States Open game, Wayne Smith of California (in the green Werder Bremen shirt) and Lenny Foster of Idaho, Wayne calls a finger foul on himself with a clear chance on goal.

The resulting free kick is played downfield and Lenny scores on an instant shot. That was the final goal of the game that Wayne won 2-1.
