Matthias is from Oberhausen, Germany, but didn't start playing until he entered the household of MiSTFA founder Mike Ewer as an exchange student in 2003/04. Won his first ever ASA game against fellow newbie Jerry Marion in Rockford. Matthias is now back in his homeland.
