Local Leagues

The local leagues will be entirely independent of MiSTFA and can be organised in whichever format the league finds appropriate. Sole stipulation is that every player plays an equal amount of games against players in his/her level or category. A conference system is allowed as long as it is a balanced schedule.

Various formats can be used, depending on the availability of playing space, dates, players, geographical considerations and also age considerations (minors must play in common venues unless taking part in age limited leagues). Some examples:

  • Game nights (held at common locations in a gym or conference hall for example)
  • League, played home and away
  • Complete Schedule
  • Conference-style regionally weighted schedules
