About
The Michigan Subbuteo Table Football Association was formed in 2003. Its goal then and now is to create opportunities for people to play Subbuteo.
For the first five years, although local leagues were established, a lot of energy was expended trying to put Michigan on the national and international map. As part of the American Subbuteo Association and subsequently part of the Federation of International Sports Table Football, numerous ASA and FISTF affiliated tournaments were organised.
Since then, MiSTFA has concentrated on local interaction. We aim to support our members in promoting, administering and simply playing the game within the state of Michigan.
Most of the play in MiSTFA's history has occurred in West Michigan, following founder Mike Ewer from Muskegon to Holland and on to Grand Rapids. However, MiSTFA is fully committed to supporting events in any location in the state.
Once membership of MiSTFA grows to sufficient active members, annual elections will be held.
